LARPing at the 1st Annual LumaCON! Comic Convention for Youth

Herzog Hall was the site of the first LumaCON! Comic Convention for Youth which attracted a crowd of nearly 1500 people to enjoy an artists' alley of professional and teen artists, crafts, panel presentations, and also LARPing (Live Action Role Play) in nearby outdoor spaces (see photo). In intervening years, LumaCON! was an even larger event at the Petaluma Community Center, but this year it returned to the Fairgrounds for an outdoor, COVID-safe convention. Librarians from Petaluma High School, Casa Grande High School, and the Petaluma Regional Library want to recognize the Fairgrounds for hosting our LumaCON! event in 2015 and 2022. Thanks for the memories!
